Is there anybody here that's going to the pre-party on Friday that would be willing to give me a ride?

The family and I are staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Wyomissing (1/2 mile from Club Worship according to the CW FAQ). I'll have a car, but I'd rather leave it with my wife and kids so that they can get away from the hotel if they want while I'm at the party.

Jeff has tons of minions  Tongue if not a fellow tastyfresher, there will be someone from crew who would be able to give you a ride to his house.

Cool. Thanks! I'll work out details with whomever as it gets closer to the date.

Best wishes for tonight's outdoor event!

In light of Andy not being able to make Clover Festival, I thought I'd give this thread a little bump.

I gotta admit that, when I heard about Andy needing to bow out of CloveR, I fearfully went to the Club Worship site. I'm glad he's still going to be there! (I'd still go anyway. I've been wanting to check out CW for months!)

Gonna try to make the show but a lot depends on how much I get done these next couple of weekends.

This Saturday I want to see "Thou Shalt Not" in Philly. (They're an unbelievable synth/electro-clash band.)  The main front man is a christian. And their album "The White Beyond" had some of the most profound lyrics I've ever heard written.

I get a tons of CDs. (Have a couple thousand total.) It is rare for a CD to sit in my car player for more than a week.  The White Beyond stayed in my car off-and-on for over a year.

Note, they're playing a very very non-christian venue.

That said, if we have life in us for more driving the following weekend. Then a good chance I might come.  However, if I come I will probably be toting a camera. Is there any requirement for a press pass? etc?

Saj: Hope you can make it. Did your move go well?

Jeff: I'm planning to bring a camera both nights. Pictures are just for personal (and maybe TF) use. I believe you said that was okay. However, I never specifically asked about flash photography during the Saturday-night event. Is that allowed, discouraged, prohibited, or what? Thanks!

Cameras are great - we encourage photography! I don't recall seeing anything in Andy's rider about photography, so you should be able to photograph him all you want. You can definitely take pictures of the venue and all the other artists.

As far as flash, we don't care, but most likely the flash won't do much for the picture except light up a big cloud of fog right in front of your lens. But whatever works for you!

I'm so looking forward to the event and seeing (or meeting) all you guys. The pre-party is at my house, and you can take all the pictures (with all the flash) you want there.  Cool

Thanks, Jon.

I hadn't thought about the fog. Can you tell that this will be my first EDM event? (Not quite the 40yo dance virgin--I won't be 40 until December '07--but close! laugh)

By the way, what time is the pre-party? I'm thinking 7:00, but I might be confusing that with Saturday night.

I hope there's gonna be a podcast of the set... pleeeeease? With ambient stuff in there too (no too loud tho). That would be such a cool mp3 to get! I would pay money for it too!

PS take lots and lots of pictures!!!!!!!!!!

Planning to. I cleared off the 512MB card in my camera, so I got plenty of free space! I'll probably stick stuff on photobucket afterwards.

my wife cleaned off her 1 gig card and we're going out to get a new charger for her batteries... hopefully between us and you we should be able to get some good coverage of the event.   Smiley

Jeff, I definately think it would be a great thing to record the whole event, audio and video.  I know I would love to have it on DVD to show others... because I find when explaining club worship and dj-led worship, people just don't get the whole picture... but a video to show some of the kids' parents that we take with us when we come down would definately show them that it's not just a "christian club" Smiley
