Urgent prayer request!
I got a phone call from Pat D tonight. I am still a little uncertain of the details, but here is the best I remember: He was feeling some pain today and decided to go to the ER. The doctors checked him out and they ran some tests. They discovered a 4 inch mass in his liver!
They ae not sure if it is cancer, but there is a strong possibility. Please pray. I don't know anymore details yet. Hopefully Pat will have a chance to get on here and update us.

I wanted to update everyone on what happenned to me. For the past year or so I know my body has been out of balance. Usually the doctor would run a blood test and it would come back normal. Lately I have been having pain in the right of my abdomen. Well the pain moved to the middle of my abdomen. My doctor on Wed gave me an authorization for an ultrasound. I called and I couldn't get in til mid May. Well, I still was feeling worse and the pain was there so I decided to go to the E.R. today.
The ER doc ran blood work and ordered an ultrasound. After waiting about 3-4 hrs I had the ultrasound done. I asked the tech if she saw anything and she said a 3 centimeter mass in my liver. I started to feel really scared. I called everyone and asked them to pray for me. Then they had me do an MRI. After waiting anoither 3 hrs the doc came and said it appears to be benign but he is not 100% sure. He is basing it on the blood work and the MRI & ultrasound. The only thing that was negative was my MPV at 5.8 and some others were low normal.
I was discharged from er and I am to see my doctor on Monday for a CAT scan.
Its quite scary because if you know what health problems I have had over the past few years then this may very well be the culprit. I am feeling scared, sad, yet I have a peace too. Thanks for thinking of me and praying for me and I will update you on the progress.

praying for you patwick. yeah, hopefully this has been the culprit for all the other symptoms, and once it's taken care of you'll be feeling back to 100% goodness again.
