Hello and God bless everybody has posted any mixes with lyrics lately?   Let me ask this how do you guys create the sounds?  I mean is it what actually floats through your head?  I mean how do you know what application to use for a particular sound? Just curious....
    Oh yeah..Redsavior I hear where your comming from and behind the scences at least you came forward and been straight up.  That takes maturity.  With God we all have issues and when I am praying we let him know whats up by bringing it to him. That is part of relationship with our God.
A growing relationship.  I read a person wrote...."a man's relaionship with his bible is a picture of what he is!"  God gives favor to those who submit to his word.  In that favor there will be hardship but at the end it is blessing.

     Sodredge I looked at your reply and am typing with a cold so I am sick at the moment.  The question you had is a very good one.  The key word in your sentence is feel.  I had people always say that they feel God in some kind of fashion through music.  Let's first examine about your part and then the deaf persons part.
     
      Lets take time out to remember that the upper most battle of being a servant of God is in the mind. 

     When we feel God and hear God are we first:  Recieved Christ (saved), Obedient, Attending Church, Have a personal relationship with Christ, Paying our tithesand offerings, willing to be corrected through the word of God, and last but not least have any conviction of the heart, and also being honest with God because sometimes were wrong and we need his strenght to get it right which leads me to the most is having a prayer life and when it comes down to it fasting.
     Now If we are not taking our best step forward in these areas as a Christian then who else can easily influence the mind since were using feelings to feel God through music.  I say this because everyone just about that feels God has NOT told me that God said to reach somenone, Pay tithes or to have some purpose in life in wich is Jesus or read their word!  Or to the stuff mentioned above.
     Jesus did not live by feelings but by faith. 
      Instrumental music can lead people to thinking that since that they feel God that they are ok with Our Savior.  It goes further than that.  It takes falling in love with Jesus. Love is a two way streak......It is a feeling then again it is sacrificial: are you willing to do what it takes....Jesus did.
     Now you can listen to ambient all you want that is your choice.  It cannot be labeled though as Christian music because the thing is you have ears to hear.  You see if Christian words were in music it would not affect you because your relationship with Christ would be clean and acceptable because it is the message Of Christ reaching out.
     In a single song there is balance where instrumentals and Christian lyrics combine not just instrumentals.
     For your friend though that is deaf. There is sign language that follows songs.  My question would be does he know what the message behind the music is all about?  How could he if there is no message?

alexandjojo  - look I apologize it just took some felliow christians to show me the er in my ways. I was clearly not acting Christian when I wrote my "rant" to you. In the end we have a difference of opinion and I over-reacted. I am sorry for assuming that I know how you feel inside and I did not see that by screaming my whole point I was validating yours.

Can you do me a favor, I obviously do not have the biblical knowledge to back up what I said on here. You can guarantee I will not post again on something like this till I can back up what I say. So would you do me a favor and explain what you were telling me, biblically.
