Great resource.  They have some great flash animation tutorials to help you see and hear and recongize various chord progressions.  Great for helping to get this stuff memorized.  The site is definately more organized and pretty looking that when I first went there.

My friend that I'm producing psytrance with just told me about "counterpoint." It's an old theory that the munks used before we had today's theory. It helps you correlate the bass and melody together by avoiding half or whole steps of 2 and 6 (tritones). Usually the bass and the melody follow in oblique, contrary, or parallel motion. Snoman covered this in the Dance Music Manuall a little on page 38.

It doesn't seem to be taught by many but it is worth learning.

Also, here is that link again for the free Functional Ear Trainer program that you can use to train your ear:
