I will look into the battery indicator. On the latency issue, it is better to have a higher or lower latency set?

Also, I need to find that program that removes all the pre-installed crap and see if that fixes anything. I know this computer can do what I need it to.

low latency for fast pc's/RAM, high latency for slower pc/RAM

for pre-installed junk when you got your new laptop, go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and remove them there.  Then do clean disk and a defrag, if you need help, let me know.

Yes Dunamis. That is the exact search I did the other night when I was working on this.

I will look into the battery indicator. On the latency issue, it is better to have a higher or lower latency set? right now it is at 11.

Also, I need to find that program that removes all the pre-installed crap and see if that fixes anything. I know this computer can do what I need it to.

What BCD have you got Chris?

and what is the problem with it? the thing I like about the BCD is that it's less junk to carry around with me whilst DJ'ing as the soundcard is built in, it's just that and the laptop

v3.4 is out in beta. Maybe that will fix it.

Actually, I got the e-mail announcement yesterday that 3.4 is officially released. Here's a link to the announcement on their web site....

From the release notes:

Quote
#  New: Support Hotplugging for midi-devices
# New: Support Hotplugging audio-devices (except ASIO-Driver)

Both a w00t! and a p00t! I only use ASIO Sad But the hot-pluggin of a controller ROCKS. I need that.
