It's safer and more secure to just keep remaking the same basic product every year. This applies to almost any modern capitalist. Just look at the mainstream movies of today.

all of the World's greatest inventions were made by nobodies--most of them in there garage or backyard.
The Wright Brothers were a couple of
bicycle repairmen for crying out loud, and they invented the airplane.
Thomas Edison, who
only had three months of "official schooling" and whose teacher called him "addled" invented the Phonograph, Fluoroscope and the Lightbulb, just to name
a few.I can name more.
None of these men were part of a "multi-trilloinaire" company when they made there first big breakthrough.
