In my studio I use Beyer Dynamic DT - 770's.  I don't use these for Djing though, dedicated pair.

Sennheiser!  all the way.  i use this pair for monitoring and djing and while i'm at work and while i'm travelling.   quite possibly the best money i've ever spent.   they keep out tons of noise and their freq response is quite good.

i use senns as well (strictly djing though), must say i like 'em a lot, real smooth and flat (which is what i like, not too bass heavy).
sorry, i dont remember the model number and i'm not at thome to check 'em.
i've used sony v600s in the past (LOVE those btw), but the senns seem to be just as good to my ears.
the thing with phones you MUST remember is that your ears are different than anyone else's, and what works for you may not work for someone else...

I use Beyer DT770s in the studio and Sennheiser HD25 for DJ'ing

Both are very good for there intended use

I used to use Sennheiser HD250 Linear II s for studio work in the 90s, they used to very good but they broke after 3 or 4 years heavy use

The beyers are very good value for money for what they are, recommended.

I use AKG K240's and since we got them, I notice them pop up in different reviews or articles so not only I think good of them.  They're very smooth and flat and sit well.

Stanton 2000s for DJing.

I have a pair of these, I like them a lot.

They are extremely isolated from the outside.
I think I got tinnitus from them though.
