need simple graphics program or can anyone do this?

I am looking for a freeware or even a demo I can use for a bit to create some flyers that I can post to Craigslist via Photobucket. I don't need something complicated but would allow me the ability to create a flyer so I can promote my dj biz.

I tried using Mircosoft Office Word 2007 but it won't convert to a graphics file.

Ever see photoshop? this is virtually a free replica of it. It can do everything.

2 things...

1: I didn't any image on that ad.
2: I've never seen a professional ad on CL.

I don't trust that site. seen too many questionable things there.
