Looking down an open highway

WWW
« on: June 27, 2008, 12:01:22 PM »

i'm gone for like two years and i come back and people are STILL fighting and bickering about trivial things, granted i think it's different people than before, but gheesh.
dave has been running this place for a LONG time, cut the guy some slack(and the rest of the mods, who i dont know anymore since it's been so long) and just follow the rules.
now i'm turning in to an instigator.
i digress, i'm sorry, i almost deleted that but i won't, b/c well, if this was the real world we wouldnt have a delete function, but sometimes it's good that in this cyber world that some people live in day and day out it's a good thing we do have.
just know that some people come here from the outside not knowing anything about Christ or what goes on in the spiritual world, they may stumble here b/c they're a dj or they like dnb or breaks or whatever and are looking for cool people to talk to.
we need to be examples, not going on about some stupid crap that no one cares about.
if you have suggestions feel free to mention them, but don't be a jerk about it.
we tried a spiritual board ONCE, and if i'm not mistaken it lasted like a month or so before it got way too out of hand.
i have issues with sins of the flesh, and you are my fellow Christians so i will share this.
i've spent more than my share of time on sex and adult forums, and they have much more respect for others than we ever have in this forum.
they dont bicker back and forth and believe it or not they encourage one another, and the ones who are crass and rude are immediately blackballed and sometimes banned forever.
what does that say about us, when the world can get along better than we can at times?
just food for thought, if i have stepped over a line i apologize but do not regret anything that i have said.
have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend,
Josh

If someone ever charged you with being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
