Progressive house is house music that doesn't sound like it was produced 20 years ago

What exactly is that supposed to mean?  That house music sounds like it was made 20 years ago?

I'm thinking of a lot of stuff coming out, mostly (U.S Garage/Gospel House)

The sounds, beats and structure haven't changed since it's birth

I like a lot of US house but I think if it doesn't flow and move forward it just sounds stale

Absolutely  Cool

I think the thing with trance and progressive though is that I don't hear records sounding exactly similar to some of the first trance tracks out back in 94/95 where as with US garage I do

okay so we've all heard the JP8000 saw sound 15 milllion times but things are moving forward a little bit since 1999 aren't they?Huh

Noah does make a pretty good point though, about the difference between what the majority likes (and tells you to like) and what your personal tastes are.
