This should get interesting. I see what you are trying to do and good intentions are great. However, I see quite a few tracks that were not freely available and actually were made available to those who paid for them. On the other hand, Freely available from the artists at first doesn't really count in this case. I am curious about how much attempt was made in obtaining permission to post these? I only ask because I have a very similar Tastyfresh collection and have thought about making it available via CastTheFire.com, but decided against it because of the vast amount of artists listed there.
Don't gte me wrong. I'm not trying to be a jerk or a buzz kill. I am sure you should be fine, but just was wanting to let you know the fine line you are walking on, especially concerning TF's rules about posting copywritten material without consent.

i am like 99% positive this is breaking the rules.
i for one, don't want my old tracks posted (my stuff was horrible and i really don't want it shared). although at a time it may have been posted freely, i don't approve of it being reposted now.

it kind of brings up a tough subject.
if a song gets posted on the net by the producer, and then it gets pulled after a while....
what happens when it gets re-posted to the net by someone other then the artist without the permission of the artist?
even though the song was never published/copyrighted, do i still have control over it after i have posted it?

Im not an authority on the subject of this, so I will just give my 2 cents on this matter. People who appreciate [good music]& bad music as well lol are going to u/l them and share them with other like minded people, and or people who havent been introduced to the wonderful world of EDM whether it be Christian or not. I dont know how much of the "cardinal rules" have changed over the years, but when Napster was gaining popularity it was used by alot of people who were promoting thier own music, and others who were promoting, even though they were not your typical promoter. The point behind that was to get the music out there to people who enjoy the music whom usually could not find it, for various reasons. Alot of the songs that show up on youtube gained thier "popularity" originally on Napster, the old ones I mean. A lot of artists just want people to enjoy their music long story short, and lets face it theres not alot of money to be gained in the EDM genre unless, well you know Tiesto and Digweed, ect, yeah those guys play tracks by artists you will never hear from unless they played them or you went record hunting for hours on end everyday. That would be fun for awhile but eventually you would get bored, LOL. And lastly lets be real, theres not alot of exposure for Christian artists let alone in the EDM genre, if your one of the artists featured on the list dont get upset, people want to take the time actually d/l your material, be happy about it, it could do more good than bad, a non Christian can check out your tracks, might dig them and drop it in thier sets, and the cycle continues. [If] you want exposure or more then let those tracks be, whats the worse that can happen, a booking for a club or a deal that can get you signed.

Mike your Napster argument falls completely flat. Napster was totally illegal. All P2P services exchanging copywritten material are also illegal. Fact is, anytime someone "shares" copywritten material they are breaking the law. Just because an artist gains popularity through illegal channels, it does not justify it at all. It comes down to the question of what the artist wants. If they want the track out there for free (which some really don't care), fine. Most would rather have people PAY for their hard work. WOW! What a concept. People want to get paid for their work? That's bizarre. I'm being sarcastic to prove a point. If you work at McDonalds and occasionally you didn't get a paycheck for your work, you'd have a problem. Even better example, let's say someone worked out a plan to share free Big Macs with people because they all are like minded and enjoy eating Big Macs.McDonalds is seeing no money for these free Big Macs and they have to cut people from their staff because they are losing profits because people are sharing Big Macs. I hope you get my point. It's illegal, it's wrong, and it is sin.
If you upload music for the purpose of "sharing them with like minded people" without the artists consent, you are doing two things. 1. You are disrespecting that artist. 2. You are possibly breaking the law depending if the music is copywritten.
If Keith and these other artists do not want their old music shared anymore, that is their priority. They have grown as artists and their old music isn't very impressive to a new audience because...well it's old.
And Keith, I do believe that most of this is Cyberwisdom stuff. Some of it are tracks from CD's that had to be paid for. I see some stuff from N*Soul and Demulcent on that list.

x2 to what Mr Christopher Carl said....He's exactly right. To reiterate, here's the ASCAP Songwriter's Bill of Rights I recently signed...
1 We have the right to be compensated for the use of our creative works, and share in the revenues that they generate.
2 We have the right to license our works and control the ways in which they are used.
3 We have the right to withhold permission for uses of our works on artistic, economic or philosophical grounds.
4 We have the right to protect our creative works to the fullest extent of the law from all forms of piracy, theft and unauthorized use, which deprive us of our right to earn a living based on our creativity.
5 We have the right to choose when and where our creative works may be used for free.
6 We have the right to develop, document and distribute our works through new media channels - while retaining the right to a share in all associated profits.
7 We have the right to choose the organizations we want to represent us and to join our voices together to protect our rights and negotiate for the value of our music.
8 We have the right to earn compensation from all types of "performances," including direct, live renditions as well as indirect recordings, broadcasts, digital streams and more.
9 We have the right to decline participation in business models that require us to relinquish all or part of our creative rights - or which do not respect our right to be compensated for our work.
10 We have the right to advocate for strong laws protecting our creative works, and demand that our government vigorously uphold and protect our rights.

I was the cyberwisdom archive if it makes any difference.
I would be surprised to find that any of these tracks were (1) available anywhere and (2) copyrighted.
EDIT: I've removed anything that seemed remotely objectionable as well as Keith's three tracks.

After thinking about it, I'm taking it all down. Sorry.
If it was stuff officially posted by TF, I'd keep it up. Why? B/c I know that I had permission for it. If it was on the forums... man that's really old and it's unofficial anyway.

That Rodney King picture I posted was a future response to what I knew what was coming, just in case you didnt get what that picture symbolized. I get what you guys are saying and I can respect that, but alot of it, I just dont believe in it, thats my own personal point of view. We all have different points of views on this, but thats ok.
