I know I was gonna do this once a month, but I kinda am lazy. LOL
I am pulling from my CTF DJ's first, however if you wanna record a NEW set to be played in CTF's 24/7 streaming playlist, awesome.
A few rules:
~Keep the content PG. This doesn't have to be a "Christian" set, but remember my primary audience are Christians and unsaved people I am introducing "US" to. I want us to make a good impression on the newbs.
~No trainwrecks. Again, I want to make a good impression as well as provide a quality stream. There can be some slight "beats riding next to each other", but get it lined up asap.
~Nothing weird. Let's be honest. Most people who like EDM are into stuff with a good beat and a fun melody. Most people who are new to EDM will most likely be drawn this as well. Having said that, any EDM that I deem to be too "out there" (loads of distortion for the sake of being distorted, beats changing up randomly for no apparent reason, and overall annoying garbage) will be rejected.
~Tracklists are essential. If you have an image you want to include with the set, that would be cool. These sets will be posted on CTF for download.
~Save your file as 128k mp3. Nothing higher is needed as the stream broadcasts as 128k.
~Tag your file with complete "title" and "artist". When your set plays, it will display whatever is in the ID3 tag.
~Delivery of mixes must be through a personal website or www.sendspace.com or www.mediafire.com. No pop-up ad supported download sites please. I like to click one link on one page. Sendspace and Mediafire have never been a problem.I know I am sounding picky, but I need to make sure we are consistant. Remember, you are being represented as well as Cast The Fire.
