After the success of Llama 005, we bring you the BIG ONE, the one that has been lurking in the shadows, making its plans and just generally stealthing about.
Fresh from EPs on a string of major labels including Tango, Amenti, PK Recordings, So Sound, and their own Replay Recordings, and still keeping up a hectic DJing schedule, Notts favourites Kinky Movement have come up with a summer funk fuelled blinder! The bouncy grooves of the original, with its catchy marimba riff and soulful sweeping chords, is sure to put a smile on anybody’s’ face!
Next up, South American house heavyweight, Jay West, delivers a smooth jam to fill floors and shuffle shoes, complimenting the original with its grooved out funk.
Llama farm regulars Double Depths return with a loopy groove that gets asses moving, and label llama Pete le Freq rounds off the release with a bouncy funkathon that will physically insert actual springs into your favourite steps!
Special thanks to Dimitri @ CMS Productions for the mastering on this release, and to Tim Wood for his cracking artwork!

Feedback on Llama006:

Fav track is Jays. Played it in Ireland over the weekend and it sounded good! - Andy Riley, Inland Knights

Very nice package. All remixes are very good but my fav is the original. Big summer hit! Played it at every gig since I got it. Great crowd reactions as well! - Tommy Largo

Digging the Jay West mix the most will play at some alfresco gigs we've got coming up. Nice summery beats! - Matt, Quirk Burglars

Another great job, eclectic. All mixes remind me -- in a way -- of Mzansi House out of South Africa. And then...the Caribbean-like xylophones change it up. Another great concept by Kinky Movement and a great EP all around! – Nate Laurence

Really struggling to make my mind up which one I like best? Think the Jay West’s mix just about has it for me. As you would expect from Jay it’s very funky with phat beats and a monster break. – Louis Hughes
