They caught the guy who robbed my store last Monday. I don't know to many details other than they caught him at a Redners (which is a grocery store). He was a 42 yr old man who just got out of jail 3 months ago where he served 10 years for robbery. SO I guess he's going right back in. What a mess.

You know something, oddly enough I feel like it's wrong to cheer and say "yay". I mean it's good he can't rob anyone else, nor possibly hurt anyone. But I feel sad for him that his life is such a mess, ya know? It's sad when someone JUST gets out of jail....and goes right back for the same thing. Makes you wonder why they act so.

I have been told by guys who were in orison that life "on the inside" is so good they don't wanna get out. Some commit the crimes just so they can go back. Free room and board, TV, games, friends. Prison has been made into a state funded vacation spot for some people.

A lot of times prisoner's try to block out all thoughts of the outside world in order to cope with what they are dealing with inside.  When they are locked up for a long period of time the condition themselves or become institutionalized in some cases.  Some adjust back into society while others continue doing life on an installment plan.  It is sad.  Sin is the root.
