dude, go easy on yourself. YOU didn't steal your mom's car, so there's no need for you to start insulting yourself. It just doesn't make any sense. let me remind you that you are a child of God. He Created you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Never forget that.

Stay in school. Dropouts RARELY achieve anything in life. My sister dropped out and to be honest, she's pretty much a loser. I love her, but she screwed up her life when she quit. You need to look way beyond this temporary situation and aim for something in life.

I know it doesn't seem like it, but God knows what's going on. He has a plan. Put your full trust in Him. Pray for the return of the car or for Him to provide something newer and better. It's really not all that bad.

Public transportation, while may be scary at times, is something you may have to depend on for a while.

Look up man. I'll be praying for you and your mom.

I'm sorry to hear the news. Please don't give up with school, it's not worth it. I seriously considered dropping out of high school at least twice and college many times, but looking back it would have completely cut off the amazing work that God has been able to do through me.

You're not a screw up by any stretch.

Cling to God and keep on going, you will get through the mud. Jeremiah 29:11 comes to mind. www.jeremiah2911.com

I know that God is going to do amazing things through you. I do, I believe that. You won't fail because you're on the winning team. hug

Quiting school = Mcdonalds or welfare recipient for most people.  People have to help themselves, all of us have "life" thrown are way.  Its easy to do ggod when everything is going right, your faith is displayed when things are not going well.  This is a hassle but it shouldn't make you want to quit school  Huh

hug Thanks guys for the encouraging words. I dont want to quit school, im just frustrated with it, cause i havent graduated yet, that was my fault. Not staying in class long enough, long story short its location frustration. Id rather work than go to school, but i would rather do both so i can get my high school diploma and make $$$ at the same time. I gotta save my money too, i cant get anything on ebay for awhile either its ok though, im not gonna worry about that. im just not too comfortable with the fact with the way things are going, i was defintly not ready for this, the only thing left now is be step out in faith and see if i can get that job. the job i dont know too much about it i just know my cousin is the manager for a shakeys, so that would prolly guarantee a job there + i wont have to cut my hair. i need w/e job i can get, so i can pay for driving lessons or something. my hair is not important i can always grow it back, id rather have $$$ than my hair being long and broke, lol. i cant get married let alone have a g/f if im not making money i realize that, just damn i have so many obstacles against me its redicolous. thats true what you said about that, ur faith is great if everything is going great. LOL, i didnt have everything going the way i wanted it to, but atleast it was this bad, but it just feels like a bad dream all over again. Anyways thanks again guys.  hug

Alright! God is good!  Cool

I do have something to say about working and going to school. Work after you go to school. A lot of times it's too hard to worry about two major things like work and school at the same time, and you'll make more $$ if you wait until after you graduate to work.

Another thing: If college is a possibility for you I would highly highly highly highly recommend going. Seriously, the people you will be learning from in college have made it a looooong way in life, and they can help you make it too. You don't have to do exactly what they did, but they have really good ideas about how to do what you love and make enough money to support a family at the same time. Professors will help you out a lot, and will encourage you in life a lot.

Life is going to be hard either way (going to school vs. not going to school), so you might as well come out on top in the long run.

If you have any questions or comments or anything about college I will gladly do my best to give you advice and help you make it. But whatever you do, do not look at your situation and give up because you think it's impossible. Phillipians 4:19 hits the spot!

2¢

God Bless,
Stephen

great news.

with everything that is going on i would suggest looking into Psalm 75. is a great one.

the vodcast should be up here http://www.cck.org.uk/Group/Group.aspx?id=72822 tomorrow some time.

was preached on yesterday and is so releveant. titel is Where is Justice?

about a guy who is folowing Gods will and sees everone around him getting what they want and with no concquences where as he is getting rebuked and more. but how he finds his worth in God and knows his plan. very good.

Trust in the Lord...(Proverbs 3:5-6)

I would highly recommend staying in school and highly recommend going to college.  Problems happen a lot in life and if we can find hope and trust in God's word then things don't seem so bad.  If you think that we live in the richest country in the world and have more things and stuff than 90% of this world it puts it in perspective.  Lord I pray that you would bless Mike.  Help him to see himself as you see him.  Help him and his mother and his whole family out.  We pray these things in Jesus name.  Amen.

Grin I want to go to ITT Tech, but eh, I would much rather work full time than keep going to school. But I will see what happens I aint gonna put all my eegs in one basket, I have to be realistic about my goals, and yes college has been something I wanted to do, but that was when I was younger.  Being 26 and having no College education is sort of a boat that sailed along time ago. We will see what happens with that. I got Jury duty on monday ah, I hope everything goes well so I dont have to miss school.
