So in an effort to move my photography in a direction where I might make a couple bucks I have a specific site now - PhotosByCRT.com.

The site is to tell the stories behind the photos and to put myself out there and maybe sell a print or 2...and who knows maybe get hired to take pictures of something for someone.

It's still a work in progress (I need to write a better bio and vision for what I want to do).  But I really need more traffic and more folks to spread the word.

So stop by and say hello and/or spread the word.

Why don't you just call up some wedding photographers/companies?  They're always looking for assistants,and after you learn all the tricks of the trade and build up a portfolio you can go solo...they make a LOT of money.  Like starting at $1200 for 10 hours. That's the low end. :-)

PS: how are you Cindy?! Haven't talked to you in ages!!

I have applied at several companies and thus far have had no luck.  The general response is you have a good eye but you have no training/education.  To which I will reply...you are correct but why do you think I'm applying - to learn!

I am ok.  Everything got flipped upside down and inside out in the last year or so (at least that is how it seems.)  I'm still adjusting to life after the Underground.  It's weird to have my weekends free after 8 1/2 years.

Honestly though I'm good.
