I'm sorry. He's not a Christian. In his 1999 interview with Belief Net, he said that the world is too old to have only one solution when asked about his faith. I can't find it online anymore, but it was there.

Seriously, that told me right then that he's not saved at all.

There are a LOT of things I could pick out of that quote that still give me serious doubt about his faith. Some of that COULD be Moby not using the words I want to hear, but then again, they could be absent because he fundamentally does not know what it means to be a Christian.

True and false. You only see what you are looking for. Given Moby's writings since at least 1999, I don't think he's looking in the right spots.

I'm pretty much over him and his music. I was a raging fan back around the time of "Everything Is Wrong."

His behavior over the years has shown me convincingly that he is not a Christian. That's my opinion. God doesn't reveal who is saved and who is not, because that's not for us to know.

I think that's what I'm getting at too JT. If he was obviously growing closer to God and stronger in his walk, I'd defend him as a Christian.
