skip it if you can. There are other midi controllers out there in roughly the same price range that will do much better. Numark's Total Control is only $250. You still need a soundcard, but it's a much better controller.

As much as i love G4 and Attack of the Show...I watched that episode and they really don't understand the passion and art that is mixing. Really no clue with the tech too  laugh

Dude... that's why you need a pro sound card. An Audigy won't cut it. It's not a true multi-channel card like what you need for DJing. There won't be a way with the drivers to set up cueing with any of the DJ software on the market. Get a pro card, and you should be able to connect your tables to it.  Heck, invest in any of the scratch products out there (particularly Traktor Scratch) and you'll be set.

I was at the Guitar Center on Saturday. He said straight out: they have had so many problems with Hercules controllers. They are not quality and reliable. I would stay away from them.  Cheesy

ok so one of the main problems i could already point out is that:
1) It's usb powered...and yet you have all these sound inputs and outputs on this thing...I don't see the power doing much here.
2) The board itself is very flimsy, all the faders and knobs look like you could rip them out if you wanted to with ease.
3) The software that comes with it...well, Im just gonna stop there.
