I am a Mod here and an Old School member so here's the deal...
How or where could we have an open Political debate on this forum?
This is the biggest most important election of our time! We need to be able to talk about this! I hate that every topic that has any value gets locked!
Based on history of this message board we decided, as a community, several years ago to focus this forum on information related to christ-centered dj culture. We had many debates that did not lead to uplifting the community in regards to politics and religion so we removed those topics from the discussions.
I agree that some converstations about politics and religion can be good but the majority of what happened here was not so we made the decision for the good of all. If you wish to have converstations like that there are messageboards all over that will allow those topics to be discussed.
Also-This is a Christian web site right?? ... yet any religious talks are band... can you help me with understanding this? I know the rules... but why are there rules against it? You would think that of all places... a Christian forum would allow this.
Again this goes back to history...based on history and even the current trend these converstations are not good for the body as a whole.

Political and non-dance related spiritual discussions are not allowed due to past problems. If you start a thread like this, it will be locked. If someone makes a political or spiritual comment in a pre-existing thread, that is fine, so long as it does not shift the course of the discussion. If it does, the thread will be locked.
