What's ironic about the picture in the linked page is that MacGyver is a self-proclaimed pacifist.
That was pretty much his entire reason for using his DIY skills because (like Batman) he hated guns.
I just have one other thing to say about this:
Richard Dean Anderson or don't even bother making it.
If Harrison Ford can make another Indiana Jones film, then RDA can make a MacGyver film.
Oh, it would be great if they brought as much of the original cast as possible. I'd be just as happy if they brought back Angus' old stage-magician friend, Jack Dalton (Bruce McGill).
And don't forget that Murdock never dies.
