The last 2 days were extremely charged with alot of spiritual battles and God is really showing me some things I have never observed or was unable to discern until now. I have always heard of spiritual battles and never really connected them to day to day things.
That was until last night and today.
DJ Adam Von Volterock, a new dj we met - Donald, Corey Cantel and I met last night to speak about the club vision and how some doors are opening to put on events in Southern California (more on that later). I started feeling very tired and sick before the meeting. I was like what is wrong with me _ I was feeling good earlier. The Lord really spoke to me about how the enemy would like to stop any venue where Jesus name is lifted, where unbelievers could know him and for lives to be impacted for good.
We opened with about what seemed to be 10 minutes of prayer and it was like a cloud that was over me was lifted. I started feeling better and I was like, "OK God. I see. We are in a battle. Prayer is our weapon and we need YOUR help and protection.
Today, Adam and another trance dj/producer - Adymus and I went to hear AJ preach in L.A. It was another amazing and powerful sermon. I will post the video once I transfer it. We arrived a little late so I caught a little more than half. I will also be getting the full audio. If you are ever in L.A. drop by Hermon Free Methodist Church.
We continued our musical excursion to a park in Van Nuys. This was an outdoor event and this is where the story gets deeper. The event had some great trance flowing in the very beginning and the scene was really vibing. I had my vid cam covering much of the action. It seemed peaceful and happening.
Adams friend showed up with a plethora of hoola hoops and this girl can rock them! Even Adam and I gave them a whirl and Adam has quite the swivel hips!
As the music continued a few other dj's showed up and a new dj starting playing some really bizarre music which I couldnt tell the genre. I started to feel unsettled in my spirit (not from the music) and was wondering why do I feel uneasy. I look over and I see what appears to be smoke coming from the dj area except I couldnt see the dj. His head arose and in his mouth was a joint which he passed around.
Shortly thereafter a fight broke out and more drama. At that point I was like should we stay.
I look behind me and 20 feet away some people were doing lines and rolling joints. My heart grieved and I put my knee to the ground and prayed for the people there. I saw people raising there hands to dance as if they were lifting to praise something-an unknown God. And I realized that there is a deeper battle in their hearts and minds and it was a connection I will never forget about the people I saw who need Jesus. I even thought, who knows maybe some people there are lost sheep and may need to come back to the Father.
This is a discussion/observation about music, events and people who need to be reached.
When I came homeit was like BAM! I checked out some of the dj's who spinned there. I was reading through their pages and said I see that they are seeking. Heres a quote one guy said "I was researching Mayan logograms when I finally understood that there is a connection between Mayans, Electronic music, dreams, fame, a rather small group of people, a crazy mission that I’m still not quite sure of... and myself. Something so absolutely ridiculous it’s impossible to prove. Ridiculous because it IS SO there yet you can’t even explain a decent half of what it even feels like."
Does it sound like that guy is seeking God?

Pray for those in EDM that are lost.
The battle and the mission contnues.
Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
