just wanted to give a brief update:
I am in California and have been spending time with my brother and his family.
I went to church Saturday night with him and his family so that was good.
My work knows of my situation and has placed me on leave.
I am seeing a doctor tomorrow that can help me get a medical leave of absence.
Other than that I still would love your prayers. I do not have the confidence to talk to really anyone without crying and having a total breakdown. It took everything in my power to talk to my children on Friday.
I am not sure what the future holds but I know I need help and that starts tomorrow.

sort of an update:
doing a little better this week. I went to the dr. and I am on some medication for heavy depression.
In general I need to stay in Fresno for a good while for medical reasons. Other than that my brother and his wife are taking very good care of me.
thanks for all the prayers. they mean the world to me. Tastyfresh has been my home for 10 yrs.... means so much to me.

So Doug, don't you love California? You are in Fresno...you should take a road trip to San Francisco and enjoy some fresh Clam Chowder in a warm out of the over bread bowl on Pier 39. Then check out Bubba Gump's, the resturant inspired by Forrest Gump. GREAT seafood. If you need a SF tour guide, pay for my plane ticket! |

I enjoyed Pier 39 myself. I also liked the beaches....call me crazy, though the sand wasn't all that great looking at the time.... Id still come back. Still praying... I know what heavy depression is like... I'm giving you a big hug right now... |
