I can't find it in any of my local music stores or Christian book store.  I searched Walmart, Target, Best Buy, FYE, Hastings...nobody has it. The Christian book store here in town (Lifeway) doesn't even list it in their database for sale.

I finally bought it off Amazon tonight.

Anybody else have a hard time finding it?

Not in Topeka. Like I said, they didn't even have it in their database.

Funny thing. I like having liner notes and printed artwork. I'm old fashioned that way.

None of the Christian bookstores here had it, but they all had it in their databases and offered to order it for me.

I got it from Barnes & Noble here, but Best Buy had it too.

Yeah... I think this one got crap for CBA distribution. Can't say that I blame him for going that way. This album is so much better now that EMI and Tedd T. are out of the system.

Hmm, I might have to check it out then. Tongue (I wasn't particularly impressed with the second album.)

Yeah, this thing is mainly targeted at the places that carry normal music.

At B&N and Best Buy it was not in the Christian section, but in the dance music section, which is right where it needs to be  Smiley

I've concluded that Tedd T. is quite possibly the worst producer out there. Everything I hate about the first 2 AH albums are present in Mute Math's as well. It's gotta be the Tedd.

Well, I like the Mute Math stuff quite a bit, and it's been a while since I listened to the two Andy Hunter albums, but I think part of the problem might be just not fully transitioning from pop/alt/rock/whatever to EDM production.

No, the mastering and mixing is what I hate about the Mute Math cd. It's not the music. The mastering and mixing literally grates on me.

Yeah, I can see not caring for the wall of sound approach to mastering, although if you look at the album info it actually says it was mastered by Paul Meany (not to mention that mastering is usually handled by a mastering house, not the album's producer anyway). Although, I have to say the way they used compression on "Plan B" is pretty neat, where when the song really builds up you can hear the cymbals pumping in and out. Smiley

As for the Andy Hunter albums, what I remember is that I liked the first album okay, although the rapping was a bit cheesy, but then for the second one (which I bought without listening to any previews) the cheese factor pretty much took over the entire album.
