I'm gonna watch it this week, see if I like it and by it. I'm behind on movie watching.  I remember when Godzilla came out in '98, I really liked it, so hope this is just as good and better.

It actually came out on DVD two weeks ago, Carey. I got my copy then but haven't had time to watch it.

laugh

I actually posted this the very day it released, when I bought it.

Not impressed with the deleted scenes, additional footage.

Great movie though!

It's quite a bit different than Godzilla.

It is a monster movie like that, and it was inspired by Godzilla, but it's from the perspective of people on the street.

Whoops.

Yeah, I heard there wasn't much fat on that DVD-steak--as special features go.
I caught the "alternate ending" on YouTube a while back--before the DVD's release--and it wasn't that much different from the theatrical, only longer.

yeah all the endings are the same basically, the only difference between them is the date footage they chose to show at the end, from Rob N Beth's Coney Island trip.

I'm sure to some of the artistic people there is a difference, but to average joe me, I was like.....Why?

I still love the movie and I'm happy I own it.

I'm just a little let down by the lack of extras.
