Tune into The Dance Chapel this Friday night to hear tracks from Sheltershed's new album "Motor Club."  I'll be dropping their track "Access Violation" at 10pm Eastern to start the show off with a bang!  We'll feature more Shed tracks throughout the night, as well as the brand new remixes of Andy Hunter's "Stars."

You should also make an extra effort to tune in this Friday night because it will be the last time the show will air for a few months.

WOCR is a college radio station, which works out great since it's one of the reasons they are crazy enough to carry an electronic dance music show!  Unfortunately it also means that some years we aren't on in the summertime, because there aren't enough students still around to keep the place running, even with old geezers like me pitching in.  The Dance Chapel will return to Friday Nights in August/September, and in the meantime I plan on making this Friday's show one to remember!

The Dance Chapel now STREAMS LIVE every Friday night on 89.7 FM WOCR!

Tune in live this Friday Night by visiting:

Thanks Dunamis Smiley

I think I'll just use the time off to catch up with a few hundred things, so it'll be ok.

It's just a bit embarrassing Embarrassed

If I get round to it, I may see about getting a mix uploaded to CTF  Grin

Carey, PLEASE record tonight. I won't be able to tune in since I am at work.

Hey bro,

The reason I haven't been recording isn't  because I don't want to, but rather because I can't!

The program I always used to record with, is Windows Media Encoder.

Now that we are using that to stream, I can't record at the same time, or at least it isn't set up that way presently.

In order to try and figure out if I could record and stream at the same time, I would have to stop streaming to change the settings.

I'll look into seeing if I can set it up that way, or if I can get another program to record while it streams, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that tonight.

We'll see.

Sorry for the lengthy explanation, but I just want you to understand I am not ignoring your request, but it's just not easy for me to accommodate on a whim!

How would I do that?

I don't have a studio at home, I use the radio station's equipment in their studio.

cool. you should have them install a program just for recording. On CTF, I use Winamp to broadcast and Cool Edit to record. It works out great.  I'll do my best to tune in at work.

Don't get into trouble!  I totally understand if you or anyone else can't tune in.

I really will look into recording.

Show starts in like 2 minutes

Huh

well since you may have changed ya mind, all you would need is a pc to broadcast with using winamp and shoutcast.  Then another pc or set of cd players and mixer to play on.  plug your output of the mixer or other computer to the broadcasting one, set the settings and away you go.

I didn't change my mind, I just asked a question.

I only have one PC.

I only have one CD player, and it's just a home stereo/boombox sort of thing, it's not DJ gear.

No mixer.

No Microphone
