Hey guys

Id appreciate some prayer if any of you are up for praying for me.

I finish university on the 2nd June, which is about 6 weeks away i guess now. Ive been doing a degree in music production, which has been great but insanely stressful at the same time. The workload is pretty intense, this year alone ive had to produce an entire album of original music, write a 9000 word research dissertation, produce a really in depth sound design project based around reaktor and maxmsp, amongst other modules including music business and synthesis theory.

Im now 6 weeks from the end and seriously dont know if ill end up finishing the work in time. Ive worked flat out all year, but have struggled to cope with the workload to be honest. Im now in a position where i have to do a ridiculous amount of work within the next month. The dissertation is handed in but the sound design project is far from finished and the album is worryingly far from done, plus i have a business module to do as well. Im pretty stressed out about it to be honest. Ive been ill all week and i think im run down from lack of sleep, which isnt good as i have a lot of late nights ahead.


If you could pray three things id really apreciate it:

1. That i get the work done well and in plenty of time.
2. That i dont burn out doing it, but instead that God blesses my time to be really fruitful.
3. That the stress will be replaced with peace, and trust that God is bigger than this.

Praying. And can relate. Pretty much all the gray hair I currently have I got during grad school. Seriously. I was back working full-time when I was still working on my final programming project. I'd work my 8-5, come home, eat dinner, then go out to our camper and write code for another 5-6 hours per night. Oh, and we had an extra needy newborn in the house. Not a fun existence. But God saw me and the family through it. We're in a much better place financially and I have much better job security because of it.

You are in a major time of personal and spiritual growth. Just keep your eyes on God through this whole time, and I will be praying for you.

I know all too well those things that you are gong through. Just last night I had a major nervous breakdown because one of my classes is asking way too much, and I just can't do it. I've tried everything but I can't do it, and nobody can ask me to do any more than what I'm capable of doing. It's so bad I don't want to wake up in the mornings. I recognize now that I need prayer as well. Yesterday I was talking to my dad on the phone and I caught myself yelling at him, then I realized that I've been burying my stress inside pretty deeply. For me, putting more time into school is not the answer, because I've been trying that, and that is what's killing me inside. So I think I can relate to you -- don't take your school issues lightly because they have the potential to finish you. I will be praying for you.

Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.

My works been going really well so far, and even when a vocalist pulled out on me the day before a studio booking, God blessed me with an amazingly productive time in the studio that probably was worth more than the vocal recordings would have been to the project. Also, im finding im working really fast at the moment which is good!!

Definitely feeling a lot more encouraged, but still a long way to go in a short time. Would appreciate your continued prayers  Smiley

Two weeks left, and its been going really well!

Im somehow managing to plough my way through the work and staying fairly stress free (pretty tired from lack of sleep though!)

I Hand in my second to last asignment today, and then two more weeks of the madness left!! Cheers for praying guys, really appreciate it.
