DnB... Trance?

WWW
« on: April 11, 2008, 05:22:08 PM »

My oh my, and this is the stuff I grew up with.... laugh

This is the 1st Trance mix I have ever done, so expect a few flaws...maybe I dunno...  laugh

and yes, it was played on CTF a few hours ago. I'm guessing there arent that many that listen during the day at all. Anyways, I know there are alot of trance/house DJ's out there, so I know they will hop on this one.

Send me your feedback, and if there are enough responses, I'll think about posting a tracklist.

Main reason I started getting back into this style, was because at one of DaGathering's, someone came up to me as I was finishing one of my DnB sets and asked if I could play some Paul Van Dyke... I was like "I'm only playing DnB" and so... I started looking up some ol Paul Van Dyke, and as soon as I heard what it sounded like again, it reminded me of some ol Oakenfold tracks, and that reminded me of Tiesto, and so on.

I went thru my old CD collection of where I've been collecting mp3's and sure enough, I had some trance back in the day, stuff from Above and Beyond, Ferry Corsten and Randy Boyer.
And as I went thru them again, I realized I had enough to make a set with them. So that basically summarized it up. I actually enjoyed how this mix turned out, and it was very fun to use my xponent on something other than DnB....hehe

Hahahaha.... true... Dave will be instantly upset because you played greece 2000. Don't worry though, I am only mildly offended that you did that.

I dunno about being the next Diesel Boy  laugh

I just want to be known as a guy who just loves the music soo much, that he gets every opportunity to play and/or be heard. One day I'll get noticed and it won't matter If I'm a superstar professional or not. I'll keep doing what I do best, and the Lord will provide. Smiley

And as far as playing Greece 2000, Thats one of my old time favorites....If you got a problem with it, then take it up with the artist.  Tongue
