You know, I was seriously wondering if Cally was a Cylon when she mentioned she hadn't been able to sleep ever since they hit the nebula.
I was hoping the last one is Baltar or Starbuck, or Adama or someone big, but now I wouldn't mind seeing Cally alive again either.

what if cally comes back to life as the final cylon and just straight up bitch slaps tori.
...
...and then they kiss.
OK... that would be acceptable. Maybe. One problem... can the final five resurrect?

Good question!
Even if they can, there's no resurrection ship nearby.
And if there was, do they have to have copies of their bodies premade?
If so, that would make it pretty hard to keep the final five a secret, if you have a bunch of copies of their bodies.
If there are no premade bodies, they can't resurrect though.
Maybe that's part of the reason the final 5 are so secret...they are so vulnrable

Seriously, that's been obvious from the start
At least to me. That's driven home by the Cabal's attack on the 6's (and others).
BTW, Boomer and Cabal??? Really??? *sigh* Oh well. That was set up with season 3 with Saul's wife I guess. Seems the priest isn't so holy after all.

What's that?
That a rez ship has to be nearby or they are dead? Yeah, that's been obvious ever since we knew about rez ships.
Or did you mean it's been obvious to you that the final 5 can't resurrect?

Or did you mean something else?
I just meant it was obvious from the start that the final 5 wouldn't be on the Rez ships. At least not unless they vat grow you AFTER you die. If that's the case, they have one heck of a bio/mechanical factory in that ship.
For the final 5 to be on the ships, that would mean the cylons are programmed to not only discuss the final five (which they constantly do now... their programming has changed) but also to ignore the bodies that don't match up with the other 7 models.

So baltar's invisible 6 can physically touch people?
From his view it showed her reaching under his arms and hauling him up during the beatdown.
From the crowds view, it looked as if something invisible was hauling Baltar up!!!
Col Tigh is going crazy
Chief Tyrol lost it
Tori went Psycho
3 of the 4 people who have been revealed as the final 5 have become unstable!
Only Starbuck's hubby is still "sane"

It's because he's athletic. Channeling his rage and confusion into pure Pyramid skills.
This episode left me a little unsatisfied, but it's the kind of episode that's absolutely needed after the first 3... and will set up more to come, obviously. No major revelations in this one, but lots of establishment.
I'm enjoying how amped everything. The camera angles feel a bit more intense, the character drama is being pushed to the max, people's minds/hearts are being examined so closely, the politics is tight and intense. Everything the show's been great for is on steroids now.

This last episode stressed me out - mainly because I am a new dad and they kept fighting in front of that baby and I seriously thought they were going to kill both Cally and the baby off (remember the mini-series when #6 friggin killed a baby within 20 minutes of the opening credits).
The final cylon is either: Jamey Wright, Scott Blackwell, or that guy Jeremy Dawson that used to fight with everyone on the old HTML forum.

No. They've always shown her like this. It's still in his mind. She's not physically there. His feet never left the ground, so his subconscious mind was doing it all.

Col Tigh is going crazy
Yah think??? What did you expect? He killed his wife b/c she had sex with cylons and gives them information about the resistance to free him. He then kills her when he finds out. Now he finds out that he's a skin job too. He's got the right to go nuts.
Although, I think he's trying to come to grips with things rather than loose it. Seeking out 6 was a good thing, but dangerous.

Chief Tyrol lost it
But... in doing so he did a smart thing and that's getting himself transferred away from Tori.

Tori went Psycho
Not sure she ever was stable, but that's another story.

Production flaws? Part of it I think is just dealing with reality. At this point, their lives are VERY confused. Tori's isn't though since she has the least amount of baggage from my viewpoint.

That remains to be seen.

This was different, he couldn't have levitated like that on his own.
This was a physical manifestation of 6.
They've NEVER shown that before.
Unless Baltar is revealed to have Telekinesis, it wasn't his mind.

I didn't say he didn't have a reason to, I just stated that he WAS losing it.

Yes. Having sex with 6 is exactly what he needs.
No. Wait....

Really? Are they transferring him to a different ship? I might have missed that.
I know Adama demoted him to a petty officer and he's not chief anymore, but unless he goes to a different ship that doesn't get him away from Tori. Their relationship didn't come from his work, so if they are still on the same ship, nothing has changed.

Not sure she ever was stable, but that's another story.
That's a fair statement, we really don't know a lot about her, so she may have never been "sane."
It seems like she was, but she seems to have snapped after being forced to have sex with Baltar.
That's her only baggage, aside from the revelation that she's a cylon, and now of course, killing Cally.
That's pretty huge though, it's almost like rape, even though she wasn't forced by him, she was forced by the fear of people finding out she's a cylon.
Quote from: Dave Richards on April 27, 2008, 12:45:29 PM
That remains to be seen.
Yeah, but so far we haven't seen otherwise, that's all I was saying.
Quote from: Dave Richards on April 27, 2008, 12:45:29 PM

Yeah, it's hard to say if it's truly because they are cylons, or if it's just a human reaction to having such a huge revelation and their lives being so screwed up.

They didn't show his feet leaving the ground. Period. He got up on his own. It was whatever junk that's been going on in his head.
