No. They've always shown her like this. It's still in his mind. She's not physically there. His feet never left the ground, so his subconscious mind was doing it all.

This was different, he couldn't have levitated like that on his own.

This was a physical manifestation of 6.

They've NEVER shown that before.

Unless Baltar is revealed to have Telekinesis, it wasn't his mind.

I'm with Carey on this one. I think it was different to before. I'm not sure it was intentionally different, or if actually impacts anything, but it had me going: "What the... this is different!"

They didn't show his feet leaving the ground. Period. He got up on his own. It was whatever junk that's been going on in his head.

Watch it again.

He got up in such a way that his entire body was just sagging, and he wasn't making any effort to get up at all, yet some other force pulled him up.

His feet may not have left the ground, but they were not planted on it firmly either.

You could still do that. I did rewind it a few times. I'm simply saying that his subconscious mind has more control over his body than his conscious one does.  From everything I've seen, heard or read... 6 is all in his head and not a "ghost" or anything like that.

You should have been calling this in the first season when she pulled his necktie so tight he was choking himself. Of course, then... they showed him actually holding his tie.

I'm pretty much convinced that everything is in Baltar's head. He's absolutely cracked. But as Dave pointed out there have been a few times since the start when they hint that maybe  6 IS there. But I think they may just be teasing... or else even creative flaws.

No, not flaws. It's intentional. They WANT to make you think Baltar really isn't nuts. It helps to explain why ppl would follow him after all he's done.

If Baltar is the Final Cylon I'll throw my TV out the window.

He has to be human so he doesn't have an excuse for his actions.

^ That's exactly my perspective.

Dave, fair enough. So do you think they're just teasing then?

He can't be. Unless... well... it makes sense and it doesn't.

Rumor has it... the fifth isn't in this image:

So... you can rule out Baltar and Starbuck.

Teasing for what??? I think they are showing (again) that Baltar is a danger to everyone including himself. People aren't getting that, because somehow... miraculously... Baltar has developed some "christ-like" powers.

More answers coming next week. Oh wait... I mean questions.

Your image didn't embed, but you're talking about the "Final Supper" I guess. I've heard that rumour as well.

What I meant by the producers teasing: If you also think Baltar is human, then what do you make of the periodic questions of his humanity? Like the case we've been discussing. I think they're thrown in their to make us question... but at the end they'll turn out to be red herrings... or rabbit trails (depending on your choice of colloquialism).

Look, I do think that it's possible for Baltar to be the Cylon's "1 true god" since he is a robotics engineer. Never forget that. Wink

Remember all this has happened before. Baltar, or whoever played his part in humanity's earlier destruction was probably the creator of the Cylons. To them, he would be a god.

The physical 6 (that everyone can see) has had a Baltar apparition appearing to her, and just a few episodes ago, her Baltar apparition appeared to Baltar himself.

It can't all be in his head, or she wouldn't be seeing it too, and it can't be in her head, or her baltar couldn't be appearing to him.

I don't understand what these things really are yet, but they aren't just in his head.

Maybe the Baltar and the 6 are actually the same thing, but it just changes it's appearance depending on who it's communicating with.

Whether it's appearing to Baltar or 6, it seems to have the same personality, just a different likeness.

6 has her own issues Carey. She started to explain that to Tigh in this episode. She's cracked up to, but probably not as bad.

You can say they both cracked up, but both cracked up people are having the same visions?

I don't buy it.

Yeah they are crazy, no argument there, but there is something else going on with these "appearances."

They aren't having the same visions, just the same TYPE of visions Wink There is also no indication that either 6 or Baltar know what their "invisible" counterparts have said.
