What do you think the tradeoff is for Andy? Forget it... I'm making a new thread.

Tradeoff... licensing all your stuff to Nettwerk, or anyone else.

Um... if you call missing being saved by 18 inches being Christian.

How did you come to the conclusion that they definitely aren't Christians?

If I had to guess, I would also guess they weren't, but we don't really know do we?

I have tried several times to contact them. Nobody ever responds. I don't know, but it's just as dangerous to assume that they are. In interviews and given that one track, I highly doubt that they are.

Hey, Dave, when we move to the new site, can we have a "Justice" board? I think they're the most talked about act on Tastyfresh.

I'm shocked that I just saw the results of this poll and Stryke is by far in last. These other jacks may be hot now (and I guess that is what Doug asked for "right NOW") but I am now 35 yrs old and had stuff in my bag from Stryke in the early 90's.. the Acid Musique track of his used to kill it! I don't know, I am pretty much settled into all deep and funky house music now so it is hard to judge these other cats since I'm not purchasing their stuff regularly. I was just surprised because other than Joel, who is definitely way talented as a producer, I hadn't even heard of Shiloh or Andy Hunter until I got on this board. wow

I figured you were peeved they didn't answer you.  laugh

Like I said, if I had to guess, I would guess they weren't, and I'm definitely not promoting them to anyone as Christians.

I think it's ok for someone to say, "I don't think they are Christians" or to have an issue with that song.  I just don't like people stating it as a fact that they aren't.

It's kind of a shoot first, ask questions later attitude that scares me.

I don't even care about Justice all that much, but I'm concerned that if that attitude is picked up here, it may eventually be used on an artist I do care about.

You got to remeber most everyone around here is a progressive/trance type fan or came from that.  I never heard of Shiloh until Tastyfresh, but I came from a Chicago house & Detroit Teachno background...

Yeah... umm... have you realized that my post was in response to someone assuming they were b/c they had a cross on their CD? Seriously... I'm concerned about both ways. It's better to assume someone ISN'T than to assume that they are. Assuming that they are means we never make sure they know the truth. Assuming that they are means that we ignore that fact that we all have fallen short of God's glory and desperately need a savior.

Yeah... umm... don't be snotty... laugh

All you responded to was Juice saying they were "nearly christian."

You assumed what he meant by that.

No, that's just being melodramatic.  (I should know from experience laugh

Knowing that Dave Richards is saved does not mean I suddenly ignore the fact that he needed a savior, I needed a savior, or that there are people out there who still need Jesus.

I never said we should assume they are Christians.

I said we shouldn't state something as a fact when we don't really know.

Yes we should share Jesus with anyone who might not know Him.
