oh and im soo glad that the autosync feature doesnt work with Drum N Bass...
sometimes when it reads tracks more than once, it changes the original bpm by half...
Just gives me another reason not to even bother using that function. Besides. I love to beatmatch, manually
In traktor... you just set up a beatgrid by placing a marker on an obviously repetitive spot like a snare hit and you're done.

Torq has a beat grid also that you can adjust at any time by pressing Shift + Dragging the mouse over the waveform. Downbeats have a thicker line.
I think Ecliptik's issue was the BPM that Torq calculates after initial analysis of your MP3 sometimes is 1/2 actual speed. Computer is just too dumb to know that its super fast (170BPM instead of 85BPM)

yeah, Traktor does the same, it detects it at half bpm but I use the bpm functions to give me a roundabout figure of where the tempo is, but mix manually. Also I use the loop function and it does fine under these circumstances.

no matter what, you want to use some form of beatgriding with any of this software. It frees you up to focus on other aspects of djing.

Ok, wow.....ummm I even tried manually mapping out the bpm, and matching it up to the downbeat, and its still off....coolness!
Maybe Traktor does a better job with DnB, I don't know.

Scratch does, well cause I'm in control, but I'll try it with my midi controller and give you the lowdown.
