By the way, I never said I was going to a Christian show...so it's pretty amazing to see all this drama over it.
If I had said I was going to see Tiesto or Paul Van Dyk I'm not sure we'd even be having this conversation.

So you are not from God?
Because I'm pretty sure before the day is over, you will sin.
Rodimus, do you consider Mike Clark a Christian?
my sin is covered by the blood of Jesus as would thiers be if they were in fact Christians. But there is verse that talks about treading on the blood of Jesus...were as you live a publically sinfull life or blatently continue to sin openly and flippantly thinking...oh well I'm forgiven. The Bible states that this is about the worst thing you can do and at a point...you will lose your salvation...so... making an honest mistake / sin is human and as long as we ask forgivness and really try to correct our mistakes we are forgiven. but if we continue to live sinfully and tread on the blood...salvation goes out the window. also the Bible tells us to flee from what is evil and to cling to what is good...
now if they are infact Christians, then we as fellow believers have the responsibility to JUDGE them if they do not turn from their ways. Paul says to expel the immoral brother from our midst...yes the Bible does tell us to judge fellow believers 1 Corinthians 5:1-5. so... if i have persistent unrepented sin in my life please judge me! deal with me! so that I may live a more pure life and be closer to God and a good role model to both believers and non believers.
as for the second part of your question...the answer is no. and he doesn't claim to be either...

your 100% right man... the big difference is neither of them claim to be Christian or wear a cross as their band symbol.

So what makes you think they are "treading on the blood"?
I like Mike Clark, I'm not dissing him, but didn't you share table space with him at Clover?
Do you work with him regularly?

part 1
just the things ive read on here mainly and a couple of their songs/videos ive listened to show to me a outwardly and publically sinful life. its one thing to have sin in your life that God is dealing with at home but its another thing entirely to embrace that sin publicaly and take the chance of causing other to stumble in the same way you are. i will pray for their eyes to be opened and for God to do a work in their lives if they are infact Christians and if they aren't I will pray for their salvation.
part 2
ive worked professionally with mike 2-3 times but I originally knew mike from my pot smoking days years back. he knows that I dont smoke anymore and that ive changed my life (with God's help of course) and actually i havent spoken to him in a couple of months. i should give him a call. i consider him and his wife to be a good friends but since we got married and moved out to farmington im not in detroit that often. i think ill call him today.
sorry man wasnt trying to jump down your throat or anything but it just really makes me mad when i see what appears to be someone claiming to be of God / a Christian but when you look at their life you can find no evidence of this being true. it makes me sad for their souls and for any others they may lead astray.
i think we should have a new rule added to the TF Charter... "NO Discussion about the band JUSTICE" lol

Here's the thing, my wife and I walk into Cloverfest and the first person we meet is Mike, who walks up and cusses quite a bit. He then takes us to his booth and shows us some of his mixes, as well as all the Tranceformed stuff all layed out together. I'm pretty sure one of the CDs had a nearly naked cartoon character on it.
Guess what my first impression of Tranceformed is?
Mike was super nice, and really plugged your music hardcore. I got to know him better that day and the next one and really liked him. I'm glad he was there, and I hope he came away with positive feelings about Christians from it.
I'm not dissing him at all, I'm just trying to put things in perspective for you, specifically my first impression of you.

You aren't looking at their life though, you're making snap judgments based on some things that rubbed you the wrong way about one of their songs.

all of my cd covers are on djrodimus.com and none of them have any naked cartoons... you can check for yourself.
and as for working with mike, none of his music has any cursing or sinful lyrics or undertones. when he performs hes very low-key and laid back so i dont see why working with him me being a Christian and him not is in any way wrong or sinful...?

I don't have any issues with him or you.
I was just trying to show you how I got the wrong impression of Tranceformed at first.
Now that you've been on Tasty awhile, I know you're sincere about Jesus.
I was too quick to judge you at Clover, and I was wrong.
Is it possible you might be a bit too quick to judge others sometimes too?

You're talking about the girl's vocals/lyrics on the party song.
I AGREE that if they are Christians, it WAS a bad choice to do a song like that!
It's a stretch to assume that they're doing everything in that song in their personal lives.
They *might* be, but it's an assumption, not a fact.
I don't know why this bugs me so much
(other than you jacking my thread for a conversation we've already had.)
I guess I just don't like to see people judge so quickly.

That applies to someone who's actually in your "midst" and you KNOW they are sinning.
It's not like these guys are fellow Tastyfreshers, or go to your church or mine.
We don't know what they do on a daily basis, or even what they are like as people.
They could be stuck up jerks for all I know
