Interesting...
Doctor Who as Destro...
Imhotep as Zartan
Marlon Wayans as Ripcord
The cast alone is making it look good. At least they cast a "US President" too. Maybe... just maybe... GI Joe will still be an american hero.

never heard of the Doctor who actor, but saw the others and...Dennis Quaid as General Hawk, but I don't know what to think of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander. Just seems not to fit the role, course haven't seen any of his latest either. Course Ray Park as Snake Eyes, which is good pick.

He also played
Claude
(the invisible man/Peter Petrelli's mentor) in 'HEROES - Season One' and
Major Henry West
(the crazy Major) in '28 Days Later.' I do look forward to seeing Christopher Eccleston in silver make-up with a wide collar.

All he has to do is wear a helmet that covers his face and yell
villainous platitudes
with a
shrill/high-pitched voice.

Yes! Everyone should know the 9th Doctor from his role on Heroes

If it's face paint rather than a metallic mask, I'll be ticked.

What if it's CGI (à la
Nicholas Cage
in 'Ghost Rider')?

I mean... she's supposed to look like this:
Oh wait... I mean like this.
Or this:
I'm just not diggin' the "black" Joe uniforms.
Side note... Here are some kit-bashed figures: Mandalorian Commandos
Apparently, they were built from these figures:
Torso, arms: jango fett (kamino excape)
Legs: Djas Puhr
Helmet: Cast Glassman6 (modified)
Head: GI Joe undertow
acc: GI Joe, chap mei, ...
Linkage
It's amazing what you'll find on the net if you just randomly click on slightly related links.
