so this past weekend I had a lan party at my house and had about 15 of my buddies over and becky decided to jump in and play halflife 2 deathmatch with us for a little bit. now bear in mind this is only the second time she has ever played this game or anything like it in her life and she came in aprox. 9 out of 12 on the final rankings at the end of each match.

so anyway last night she told me that she wanted to "practice" a little bit for next time so i set her up to play online. now again i must stress my wife is not a gamer so this whole scenerio is quite amusing to me. i went into the other room to watch law and order and eat a snack but i had a hard time doing so with all the yelling, screaming, taunting, and occasional signing that was coming from our office.  laugh

aparently she figured out "how to play" and got 80 some kills in about 2 hours. she was ranked 4 out of 17 guys who all play often (based on the ranks i saw).  Lips Sealed and i couldn't be more proud!

shes already talking about wanting to play tonight  Tongue i think im gonna have to get her her own account so we can both play together. we'll spend some quality time shooting people on dm_overwatch!  laugh

x2. Carey, that was awesome!

On a funnier note, I'm not much of a gamer ONLY cos my system is lame. HOWEVER. WHEN I play I can usually beat the crap out of loads of guys. Even my teenagers back in the day. I LOVE to game.

I guess that's pretty unusual for a girl. I dunno.. Maybe it's my uniqueness... I AM redheaded, ya know.  =]

haha, nice job. I got my wife to play Halo with me once, but she had a lot of difficulty. She's a big Tetris fan though, it's pretty much the only way I can keep the 360 in the house.

Maybe she'd like Bioshock...  Roll Eyes
