Well, in general, you could say "boundary path" or "bounding arc" ... because you wouldn't want to neglect the fact that the path exists in 3-dimensional space, not 2D. The vocabulary word doesn't exist in basic non-analytic geometry, it is not the same as circumference or perimeter. Essentially, a circle has infinitely many vertices (corners).
