Kinda homage to the music I grew up listening to with a modern twist. This is very raw. I also have two different chord patterns that I am trying out here and they are in slightly different keys. I love em both and may just turn them into two different tracks. For now, take a listen to what I am cooking.

Good idea. I think that it would sound good to add a large room reverb on your first main element. Maybe you could mess around with modulating a low pass filter on your bass. I'm listening on crappy laptop speakers, but it definitely sounds workable even under these conditions.
I like the first progression better than the second. It does sound fluffy, but I think you can tweak it to sound better.
