This whole site is on some interesting history altogether.
Through the years finally were able to compile a list
with some very interesting memories of old existing clubs.
Note the family dynamic that was attributed to each club back then.
and massive sound/lighting setups.  (some stories include thousands of flower petals being dropped from the ceiling and essence pumped through vents while people dancing to the intro of tom moulton's mix of lie vie en rose!!!)

Interesting to read the stories in the least.
