How much will it be? I forgot that it has audio built in. By the time I buy a new sound card and the TC, I'll be up in that price range I think.

Then again... I don't like the designed for Serato only stance:

What that means to you: Yes, you can purchase this product and map it out yourself to any program that supports midi learn.
Our opinion: This product was not designed as an upgrade to the VCI-100 but rather as a Serato Itch interface. The only real difference is slightly larger jog wheels and a built in sound card. If your using other software, your best bet is to buy a VCI-100 and a good sound card for the same price and use the mappings you find around the net and here on dj tech tools.

i think they said $600

but apparantly it is midi so will work with all software. ableton traktor etc.

+ the jog wheel are more configurable and bigger. + the buttons have nicer feel.

If includes the full version of serato for that price then i think its good deal

What r u going for?

The results were very noticeable when in use with Itch, a software designed to accept and deal with those higher resolution values. Unfortunately, there are no other programs that support hi-resolution midi at this juncture. If your thinking about using the vci-300 as a standard midi controller the jog wheels will not give you a major performance jump over the vci-100. That is unless other software companies starts to support the controller natively which is not likely to happen.

I'm entrenched in Traktor now. I'm not gonna invest in something that isn't fully supported by my software.

yes i can understand that! I still think its gonna have a bit more than
the vci 100.

I want to get into serato. I use to use traktor before i got into ableton.

So am hoping its not gonna be too expensive.

From serato regard the video pluggin
"Initial support is limited to the Rane TTM 57SL mixer as it can provide the realtime control and integrated audio and video crossfading that VIDEO-SL requires. As the feature set of VIDEO-SL expands in future releases, Serato will introduce support for other models of hardware."

So still a possibility!
