ok, well after playing with ACID Xpress 5 for two days I made and "published" my first song. It is very limited, I dont know how to change the length or use just pieces of the loops yet and it is limited to 10 tracks but it was fun. However, it feels like making a piece of art with clip art and calling it mine.  Kinda feels like plagiarism, but I digress...

 So give a listen if you have time and tell me to stop clogging up the worlds air with my useless talent or encourage me to continue..lol thanks

Honestly, when you're starting, mixing pre-made loops can be the perfect learning tool. When it comes to producing structure and composition make up a big part of a tune, and learning to arrange a set of loops will help you learn how to do that the best way possible! Once you get that idea down, and you produce more and more, you'll get this hunger for more. That's when you start finding out about sequencers, VSTs, samplers and all that fun stuff. So don't worry, no harm in starting with loops
