clutch cargos! BAHHHHHHHHHHHHH  hurt

how horrible!

the last time i saw them in detroit they played the state fair ground stadium and there were 10,000 people there! clutch is a tiny nasty dirty little club run by arabs and filled with underage girls and etards. i wouldnt set foot in there to save my life.

Just remember....They have an agent who books shows for them.  Also remember that they don't know particulars about the place.  It's not like they go there every week.

Also,  Keep this comment from Mr Digweed in mind.....

Quote
Instead of arenas, The Sasha and John Digweed Show is sticking to clubs and traditional concert venues. John explains: “This time around we are playing a great selection of clubs with great sound systems rather than big arena shows, which will give our fans a chance to see us in a more intimate environment." The advantage for some is that there will be an earlier opening and closing time and more all-ages shows.

I've seen a show or two at clutch cargo that I really enjoyed, and I like the more intimate setting where you can actually talk to the performer.

i watched 3 guys hold a girl on the dance floor while another one raped her at clutch. no one did a thing.

until the police came of course.

Way to trash Carey's memories.

(sorry Carey i just really really HATE this place bad)

Sooooo... why didn't YOU stop it if you saw it happening?

heck no! you have to understand this place is like run by really scary arabs that will kill you!  hurt (plus we werent sure she was being raped until after the cops came and the word spread)

serisouly the city of pontiac has the most murders of any city in metro detroit other then downton detroit itself. and the city council is trying to layoff 1/2 of the police department becuase they dont have enough money to pay them. they just layed off the ENTIRE fire department accept for like 3 guys! lol now they want to cut the police to like 8 for the entire city of 100,000 some people...most criminals

you know its funny cuz when i recently upgraded my studio gear last month at the guitar center in southfield the sales guy there told me that he was the new tallent scout for clutch and offered me a slot to spin there anytime if i wanted... i nicely told him that ive tried to make some life changes and i dont really play in clubs anymore but i wanted to say... CLUTCH!?? EWWWWW!!!!!

on a side note clutch cargos was the first club i ever went to back when i was.... 15! i had a small fake id making business at my school.... in another life.  smiley12

My memories are intact.

Nothing like that happened when I was there, but it may have changed owners since then.

One of the shows I saw there was Fold Zandura, so maybe Christians were involved at some point?  Maybe they just rented it from the owners, or maybe FZ was just booked as a mainstream act, they were certainly good enough.

They did one of the most awesome versions of "Turn your eyes upon Jesus" during their show that just blew my mind, I wish it was on a CD.

Very sorry to hear about the rape though, that sickens me.

I gotta say, if I saw something like that happening, I think I would try to stop it, even if it meant I might be in danger.

I only say "think" because sometimes you just don't know what you'll do in certain situations until they actually happen, but in my mind for now, there is no doubt I would try and stop it.  I hope if it really happened I really would do like I think.

Some verse about greater love and laying down one's life for another comes to mind here.

I will probably come to see them when they hit seattle. They are playing a decently sized venue here. It's much bigger then a small nasty club, and yet smaller then a big arena. I'm excited!

no matter how small or nasty a club they play in, it will be filled with Sasha & Digweed fans...

that will change the atmosphere entirely.
