check all of your audio and usb connections. completely shutdown and restart. try reinstalling the drivers. try those in that order.

Make sure you set all your audio up right as well, select the interface, audio routings etc. in the program.  Drivers are defo key as well, especially for newer OSX versions.  Some Macs you have to even turn the internal speaker selection off in your Sound set up.

From DJTechTools.com...

Quote
Numark Dj I/O
Price: $95 +/-
Pros: small, light and inexpensive
Cons: plastic, driver issues,
Performance: This is the only card I had serious driver problems with. Performance bellow 5.5 ms was impossible and when the driver crashed it completely crashed forcing a program and then system re-start many times.
Opinion: If you want a simple low price box for home use- this is a easy option. If you need solid performance I would personally shy away from the testy drivers.

Just get a hub and power your controllers. It's not a problem

ok.. got the sound workin through the unit now. Theres some like twitches in sound.. im guessin this is the latency issues the unit has.. although i don't have this through "cue" so should i be able to configure this so it's running smooth right?

still got some playin but havin to fit around alot of work.. got 2 weeks to have proper play from monday.

Definately coming round to idea of traktor. Seems to be running better now except the sound issue which could be the DJio.

Totally prefer that the unit takes out the EQs in your head phones as well so you know exatcly what is going to be comin out your mix. Unlike tryin to guess on cue what is guna be there and not.

Problem I have had... i running out of battery and plugd in power lead.. all sound went.. dont no if i accidently knocked USB and I have a dodgy lead, but even when rebooting traktor the audio wasn't working..

bring your own power strip. 1 plug. Won't increase it that much... better to be professional and prepared than not.

Regarding USB power earlier on... Dave's right about hubbing. FYI, the MacBook Pro only powers 1 of it's 2 USB ports, and the 17" model is the essentially the same, only powering 2 of the 3 ports. It's to do with the power required for the keyboard and trackpad, Apple rewired the power from one USB. Little bit sneaky...

i have a macbook pro an it powers anything plugged into either my usb ports at same time or not. when using a hub i have to power that.. it can not power an extra 4 hubs. (to be expected really)
