i think the lyrics are pretty cheesy on this, but some of the sounds you have going on in this track are pretty dope.

look forward to a track with a vocalist.

poor silly, extremely blunt, Doug. Those "lyrics" are not lyrics at all. They are samples from the classic 1972 movie "A Thief In The Night" by Mark IV Pictures. Cheesy by today's standards, but it's still got a great impact.

DJ404 called it! Yes they are samples from the classic series! Cheesy, yes but these tracks are not meant to be commercial... We got some of that coming in another project but this project is a blunt message from the old school and the samples are a nod back to those days. We have some commercial tracks in the works and hopefully a working store soon for some reason it is not working at the moment. Just to be clear I am not being defensive of our tracks just wanted to clarify what these tracks were meant for, old in your face samples thrown over some fresh sounds back to the roots so to speak. The next few tracks will hopefully speak for themselves.

God Bless

Oh, man. I really don't like that series. It's depressing.

But I liked the music though. Smiley

That's right -- we could spend five minutes to remove the samples for another audience, but it was our intention 1st to use some of the kitschy material from our Christian media history because those who made the films were sincere.  Several of our tracks will be strung together with this idea forming a kind of concept album.  Plus, we feel it is original -- no one else is doing it.

Good call hugoleo, when I saw the films I was so young I found them to be disturbing as well, but in a manner that led me toward repentance.  Hence, the 2nd reason for using the samples.  Call me bizarre, but I find it facinating and paradoxical to explore the love for dance music AND recognize the obvious difference in values.  I enjoyed messing with people when I was djing who were getting jiggy on the dance floor by throwing a pastor sample over the music, and its funny to watch them stop what they're doing and think about it....Wink
