I guess I should have introduced myself before jumping in on the posts.  I got on tastyfresh a couple of years ago but didn't really keep posting.

I got into the EDM scene going to raves starting in 94.  I traveled around going to parties every weekend and clubs through the week.  I sold drugs, did drugs, and was definitely not    a positive influence to the scene.  I was attracted to the obvious New Age influence predominant in the rave scene.  I spun records at some house parties, afterhours, and held a few residencies but nothing major.  I was more into the drug aspect of the whole thing regrettably.  I did a few short tours in prison.  I found the Lord while there. I went through a period where I had to lay down everything that was from my old life.  After developing more of a foundation in Christ the Lord led me back to the music I love today with a deeply profound appreciation for it.  I have done a lot of ministry with youth sharing about what the how Jesus freed me from drugs and a life with no hope.  I also enjoy DJing for various youth events.  I DJ a variety of music because today's youth just really aren't into EDM.  EDM is my passion and I educate my listeners every time I get the chance Wink.  I have spun in some EDM friendly clubs but I don't make a habit of it.  I have had some issues there that almost cost me dearly.  I'm just trying to be more like Jesus and answer His calling on my life.  I appreciate the people on this site.  I don't know of any christian DJ's near me so I like reading the discussion's and occasionally entering the fray.  Iron sharpens iron and all.  If you want to know anything else just PM me.
Again. I'm sorry I just jumped in there and started posting like I'd always been part of this community.

Peace

Thanks Mike.
I use a vestax pvc275 3 channel mixer. Technics 1200's. I use shure m-447 needles. Laptop. Serato. Pioneer Headphones.
My bro recently bought the Korg Zero 4 mixer.  It's very nice!  He uses the stanton tables.
I have a pretty nice mobile lighting rig too that I like to play with.  I'm no LJ Troll though. Wink
I'm going to work on recording a mix set tonight for the demo submission.

I'm in Indiana Bro.

Two people drift in a lifeboat. One says, "I see an island. Our best chance is to go ashore, build a shelter, and await rescue." The others says, "No, we must go farther out to sea and hope to find the shipping lanes." Unable to agree, the two fight, the lifeboat capsizes, and they drown.
