So yeah I just caught up with 2005 and realized that I can rent movies online and watch them on my computer.

What really got me clued into it was on NBC.com they only have the first 5 episodes of Heroes Season 2. I saw that one of the members in the forums there pointed out that Netflix.com has the rest of the season, so far, online to watch. Soooooo. I decided to join for the two week trial and get the rest of the season watched. If I am happy, I will probably stick with Netflix online viewing. Goodbye renting DVD's!

I also found another interesting service called Vongo.com I downloaded the software, but haven't opened it up. It appears to be a portal to rent and buy movies for your pc.

So do any of you rent movies for your pc?

 Embarrassed I dont rent movies, I watch them they stream & there good. I know plenty of good sites where you can watch all the latest well almost nu movies. Believe me, I wouldnt pay to see the nu rambo movie, ewwwww, that movie.....um....just save ur money & dont see it! ROFL, but seriously that movie was BORING. Back on topic, renting movies online is a good idea though, especially if you want to see an older movie. I like older movies, so thats what I would watch if I did rent movies.  Tongue

i'm not there yet because i wanna sit on my couch and watch movies, not in my office.  i do the blockbuster online thing, though, which is nice because you can trade in the dvds at a store for any movie....

agreed. i won't rent movies online until i build a media PC in my living room that hooks up to my LCD tv. i want to relax while watching shows/movies.
