yeah, I was afraid of that, I'm better off getting pair of CDJ-400s for that price.

no.. you're better off buying traktor scratch and using any cdjs you can get.

but plan was to get the newer ones that play mp3s and use part of the money to buy a new mixer.  But I think I plan on getting the 800MK2's eventually.
