I like HardHouse, I can not say for certain that it is dead, but I can also say its not alive either, lol. I do like top drop HH in my mixes, but its rare, I have to find more.

Hmm, I see. The UK scene is the only HH-scene I've been involved with around 2000-2002. Maybe it's time they come up with a new sound to make it alive once again. That'd be sweet.

for me, HH was just a small phase. it came and now it's gone. in fact i don't like 97% of HH tracks.

Whenever something is "killed" or "dead" it just means it's not the hot new thing anymore, but it's still very much alive for those who choose to still enjoy it, and may resurface as the hot new trend in the future.

DJ Bam Bam doesnt seem to think that HH is dead. H e dropped a new mix called "Beats by the pound", which I thought was pretty funny on his part. Although some of the lyrical content is um.... PG 13 or something, I heard clips on myspace, the clean ones were decent. Where I got to school I havent seen alot of HH party flyers, usually I see them scattered on the floor atleast a block away from the high school. I like HH, its cool, and AJ Mora did an excellent job on albums, so when I am in the mood for HH, I listen to the tracks quite often. As for Trance, I doubt it if it will die, especially House and Techno, they all progress, but continue to live on in one form or another.

when people say a genre is dead, what they really mean is that it has evolved to passed that genre and not many people are still doing that style.
