I think ill spark some talk with this one. I use ttx's from Numark and i love them! I have used Technics SL-1200MK5. And i really have to say that the Numarks are way better.  Cool I know the technics are industry standard but ttx has so much more in terms of features. Also i know that panasonic has released newer and better, but still they don't have features the ttx had. Which table do you think is the best?  laugh Also don't forget Stanton of Gemini have some good stuff.

no cd only vinyl tables

other than Technics and probably your Numark, I think Stanton STR8-100s and up are solid tables.  I have the 100s and after that, they have release the 120s and 150s.  From what I've seen their good ones too.

I have Numark TT-500s, which are the TTXs without the digital capabilities. I would spin on them before tech 1200's anyday.

I have to disagree with you - You can't beat Technics, they are still the ultimate turntable when it comes to playing vinyl and they are also the most reliable, with the Vestax PDX range following behind.

In my opinion the turntables made by Numark, Stanton, etc are great for bedroom DJ's or if you do it for a hobby but when it comes to DJ'ing in clubs all you need to know is how to use/be creative with Technics turntables, as 99% of night clubs have Technics installed (although they aren't being used that often due to the very popular transition to CD/MP3, etc).  You will very rarely/never find the turntable you use at home in a night club - unless you use Technics.

I truly believe you should always stick to the industry standard when it comes to DJ'ing.

And i will have to slightly disagree with you. I don't think that "because every club has them" means that they are the best quality.

at one point in time they absolutely were the best quality! thats why all the clubs bought them. but now, looking at it realistically, i would definately buy the stanton st or str8-150s. i think those are the best right now.
