This motherboard is about 7-8 years old. This is all the information I have on it. I wanna know how to tell what size, speed, or power I need to look for in a new Mobo, Processor, Ram, etc.

Ok... my advice is this: Don't bother. You could get a new motherboard for another $56-100. You would also need ram for it, but that's fairly cheap these days. You just won't be happy with the processors that would fit in it... IF you could find one.

BUT... what are you planning on using it for. That will make a difference.

this is the motherboard I currently have. I'm going to upgrade my tower so I can better run my music programs better. I just don't know how about going to see what new motherboard I can replace this with.

All you need to know is how many expansion slots you need, what type of video you want, how many usb/firewire ports and what processor you want to run. You don't need to know a lot more than that. A motherboard is "easy" to pick out.

yeah, I would just get a new mobo.  Best you could do with that one is get a AMD Athlon 2.0Ghz processor.  I would get a AM2 socket mobo if AMD is the route you want to go.

"Standard Micro ATX form factor.

This tells us you have a standard Micro ATX case.  Make sure that is the form factor of the board you buy.
