I think he meant short term, "How do I save the Island RIGHT NOW from the crazy merc who's gonna burn it!"

The easy explanation to that would be a Cyclone with waves strong and high enough to carry it inland.

Katrina did this with a floating casino in Biloxi, MS.



Albeit not as far inland, but this was a Very large floating structure, not a boat on a mystical Island. :/

What caught the most of my attention was the mention of "like smoke from a great furnace." Black Smoke???

Well, with the reference to CS LEWIS already, I totally think one of the writers at least is having a great time inserting "Christian" themes and biblical references. Very cool.

Didn't get back home until 3am (after work); I just finished watching a recording of it.

Oh my goodness! It's The Orchid!

When Ben said The Orchid, my eyes widened. I'll post more later; I need to get to bed because it's late. Smiley

In the mean time check out the video link I posted above and take notice of name of this particular Wickman-clone(?) and it's connection to a previous episode of this season. Smiley
