I listened to the remix this morning with fresh ears. It seemed to need more tweaking... here's the improved 2nd cut. I made some changes, I think it works better now. I believe I'll take the first one off-line now.

First draft:

[link removed]

It has some sort of an electro feel to it.
bpm @ 125

I plan to make some edits to get rid of some pink noise issues I'm having.
I plan to extend the mix and make it sound a tad more like the original.
I plan to fill the frequencies out some more.
I should probably tweak the reverb in places and its freq response.
Some volume tweaking too.

But for one night's work I like it.

I am so going to be late for class, but it's worth it (I think)...

Can you somehow re-export the bass with no eq and higher quality wav or aif?
It would probably help me get this done faster.

thanks

Awesome news, Pat. To anybody who does not know who Eddie Amador is, he is the guy who did that classic "House Music" track..."Not everyone understand what house music is....It's a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing" He also did a track called "Rise" which is a vocal house CHOON! "Rise to the top, I got to make it to the top, keep on workin never stop, gonna keep on pushin". Also he had some very awesome tracks under a pseudonym, Mochico, most were basic, filtered house beats with deep basslines, some looped elements, and a spoken, spiritual message. There is no doubt that Eddie Amador is a follower of Christ. He had a very good run in the mid - late 1990's and early 2000's. I hope to see more from him soon. Perhaps this remix will kick start his music again.
